INTRODUCING ANTIMICROBIAL PILLOW & DUVET PROTECTORS

We are offering a choice of substrate fabrication: waterproof 100% polyester or 55% cotton/45% polyester blend. Samples are available now, they will be ready to ship in November.
BAC-PUR® FINISH: SAFE, EFFECTIVE & ECO-FRIENDLY
The active ingredient in our pillow/duvet protectors’ finish coating is benzalkonium chloride, an organic salt which has been used for decades in personal care products (shampoo, hand sanitizers, etc.), pharmaceutical products and surgical/medical disinfection. Extensive testing has demonstrated its efficacy in eliminating the most common types of pathogens:
Bacteria (gram-positive, gram-negative and multi-resistant) such as staphylococcus, klebsiella pneumoniae and e. coli
Viruses including coronaviruses, hepatitis and gastroenteritis
Funguses/molds including trichophytons
Benzalkonium chloride is non-toxic and has no environmental impact. Bac-Pur is US EPA approved, REACH compliant and does not contain SVHC (substances of very high concern). To protect guests’ sensitive skin, it is also Oeko-Tex Standard 100 compliant and dermatologically tested.
COST-EFFICIENT & DURABLE FOR 100+ WASHES
Bac-Pur finish is not affected by temperature, friction, UV exposure and other degrading agents. This durability is achieved with patented silica particle matrix technology which outperforms the more common microcapsule application in adherence and washing resistance.
Antimicrobial textiles don’t need to be washed in hot water, or with so much detergent, in order to kill germs — they’re already doing that for you. The immediate result is savings on energy and laundry supplies. There’s also a long-term benefit in the fact that a lower water temperature in the wash extends the lifespan of the textile, thus reducing replacement costs.
